We discovered Coco Village about 2 years ago when I was searching for a birthday present for my daughter’s first birthday. I saw a post for a Coco Village kitchen bundle and I bought it. Scooping Activity for Toddlers
We have completed a similar activity before, Sensory Muffin/Cupcake Tin Activity. I don't know about your toddler, but recently my little one has really enjoyed scooping and dumping items. To encourage this skill I collected a few items from around the house and completed an activity.
Items You Will Need:
- Bucket
- Muffin tin
- Golf balls (we live on a golf course so we have many of these)
- A big spoon for scooping.
This activity is great, because the supplies are minimal and items that you probably have laying around the house, and it provides a window of engagement. It may seem like an easy enough activity, but your little one will be getting a lot out of it! Look at the list below to see what skills your child will be working on.
Skills:
- Fine motor skills
- Coordination
- Dexterity
- Gross motor skills
- Determination/Grit
- Attention Span
Happy Playing,
Marrisa
