Pikler Triangle - What is it?
*This post is not sponsored in any way. Affiliate links may be used, as this blog is my business. As always, I appreciate you reading and I hope you find my photos and information helpful!
I don't know about you, but I have been hearing about and seeing the Pikler Triangle all of the time. If you are curious about what it is and it's benefits, I've got you covered.
What is it?
To put it simply, it's a climbing frame. The Pikler Triangle is perfect for little ones 6 months and up, with adult supervision at all times. It can come alone as just the triangle or you can choose add ons. I have the triangle, ramp/slide, and rocker. These items can be arranged in a variety of ways. I love open ended play and this setup is perfect for it. The Pikler Triangle will help your child reach age appropriate coordination and developmental milestones.
The Pikler Triangle was developed by Hungarian pediatrician, Dr. Emmi Pikler over 100 years ago. I'm so happy that it has stuck around and hasn't really changed that much (until we added the cool rock climbing wall, slide, and rocker). It can be used for children as young as 6 months to approximately 5 years old. Essentially, it is an all-in-one sensory and motor development learning toy for children ages 0-5 years and can be used both inside and out. We have ours setup inside and its perfect for the cold long winter months.
